Eurasian Economic Union

Taking into account the existing experience of studying the processes of Eurasian integration in 2018, National Research University Higher School of Economics is implementing a comprehensive study «Analysis of prospective development directions of the Eurasian integration with regard to the strategic aims of social and economic development of the Russian Federation and aims of Russia's chairmanship at EAEU in 2018».

The objectives of this project are to study the prospective directions for the development of Eurasian integration, assess the potential and actual integration effects for the economies of the allied countries, analyze the opportunities for using successful experience of supranational regulation and intergovernmental interaction to enhance the effectiveness of Eurasian integration, develop recommendations and practical measures to ensure the sustainable and consistent implementation of priorities designated by the President of the Russian Federation V.V. Putin in the framework of its chairmanship in the EAEU in 2018.
